Theoretical Exam (Knowledge Test) – Class 5 Driver’s Licence
The knowledge test is required to move forward in Quebec’s driver licensing process. It evaluates your understanding of the Highway Safety Code, traffic signs and rules, and safe driving practices. This is based on what you learned in Phase 1 of the Road Safety Education Program (PESR).
Who is Eligible?
- You must have completed Phase 1 of the PESR.
- You must hold a valid learner’s permit.
- You must have completed Phase 1 at least 10 months ago.
